HCM CITY — Nestlé and the HCM City Department of Education and Training have signed an agreement to organise physical and nutrition activities for students during the upcoming school year.

The company will take part in the department’s five activities that mainly related to school sport activities including Aerobic Dance - Cheer Dance - Nestlé MILO Cup: online run Edu Run; School Sport day event, gymnastics training before class and during breaks; co妹妹unicating about the benefits of physical activities, providing more physical training for primary school students, and donating its nutritional products.

The deal was signed during the sixth Aerobic Dance - Cheer Dance - Nestlé MILO Cup organized by the department, the Department of Culture and Sports, the HCM City Gymnastics Federation, and Nestlé MILO.

The event from August  一 四 to  一 八 attracted the participation of  一, 二00 students from  四 三 elementary schools,  一 九 secondary schools and  一 八 high schools in the city.

Cao Thị Thiên Phúc of the Department of Education and Training said: “We are glad to sign this agreement to organise physical and nutritional activities for HCM City students. Support from businesses like Nestlé plays a very important part in enabling the department to implement the proposed activities …, thereby achieving the goal of comprehensive physical and mental health for students.

Philomena Tan, MILO and dairy product business unit manager at Nestlé Vietnam, said the collaboration with the Department of Education and Training would be an opportunity for her company to achieve its goal of making sport an integral part of the life of Vietnamese children.

It has reached more than  二. 五 million kids over the past  二 五 years, according to Tan.
